    Ideas to make/save money

I was wondering if any of you guys have any tips for making and saving money.  I personally find it really hard to save money.  I am the type of person who will plan to save the money but before I can remember I will have already spent it on something.  I really need some tips.  Especially since at this time the USA people are facing economic troubles and everything is getting so expensive.

If you want to save money then the first thing you can do is get rid of your credit because it is the biggest temptation of all. When you have you will be tempted to buy anything that you see. I remember that my cousin was bankrupt because of one!

Getting rid of credit cards is a good idea. We decided to stick to only essential cards and it does save.

Another good idea is use coupons for your food purchase, Buy your local Sunday paper because that's a good day for coupons. Also scan the ads your market has put in the paper and see what's on sale. Being a bit of a picky shopper can save you tons of money.

Good thoughts... get rid of credit debt and use coupons and discount codes if you shop online.  Think about getting some (or all) of your groceries at a place like Aldi or Save-a-Lot.  Some of the products don't measure up to brand names, but many of them are just the same for a much lower price.

I know how hard it is to repay all these credit card expenses. We didn't spend on credit cards so much but still it is kind of becoming hard to repay the amount used. One can save good amount if we tend to stop using the credit cards. I'm not sure how can one make good money.

Thanks for the advice.  Let's say I got rid of the credit cards though.  What else could I do?

One thing you can do is call some of your utility companies, (for instance, your phone company) and ask them if your rates can be lowered.  Many of them have actually changed their rates, and unless you call them and ask, you will continue to pay your regular rate.  I recently threatened to switch phone companies, and they did their best to lower my rate, which they did, quite considerably.  Another thing you can do is to go to the website of your favorite grocery store, if they have one, and check out the sales on the website.  Then, match the coupons that you have cut out of your Sunday paper to the sales and save even more!

Plan your meals for the week. You will be able to make better use of the food you buy and not have leftovers.

USA isn’t the only one that has economic troubles.  We have our own share.

You can also save your money by listing what you are going to purchase at the department store.

I know that there are other countries and places facing economic troubles as well.  I was just hoping to get some advice and tips.

I think a next step if you are in financial difficult might be to assess what you have vs. what you actually need.  Like if you're paying for premium cable with pay stations, a basic cable package costs less.  If you really need to save money and are paying for DSL, might consider going back to dialup for a while.  It's not SO dire.... I'm still on dialup.

These days we have our grocery shopping reaching its heights, when we just figured out other day all the expenses and saving the chart looked like we are spending mostly on grocery and we aren't eating so much too in order to cost us so much monthly basis. Generally, how is the monthly grocery expense for 2 adults and 1 kid who is 4 months old?

Get DVDs from the library. Many libraries now have movies on DVD that can be checked out. If your library offers this service, it sure beats paying Blockbuster or Netflix.

If you keep an honest record of what you spend in a month you'll probably be surprised how much you spend on fripperies without even noticing. When I did this exercise I discovered that I was spending money on snacks each time I filled up with fuel, even though I didn't need them.

I can’t give anymore ideas to save money because I’m all out so I guess that it is about time to give an idea to make money.

If you like being online then you can try searching an online job.  There are a lot of online jobs, just keep in mind that you are here to find a job so don’t pay for anything just to get a job.
